Looks cozy, good location.
Room had an old smell, takes long time to get used to.
the room was clean. the breakfast had a nice variety, we really liked the waffles. the staff was friendly and tried to make our stay pleasant especially housekeeping.
The interior was great and clean.
Sink too low
General cleanliness was very good and well maintained. However, the floors were sticky and dirty. I could not bare to walk without socks on. I mopped the floors myself. I stayed in two different rooms for a week and encountered the same problem.
I was next to some gangbanging couple that kept me awake until 4am. They intermittently came out to smoke Marijuana, smoked and coughed all night long. They were on the balcony spitting and hawking up flem. I believe the management should make a judgment call and be able to group like individuals in certain area of the facilities to avoid disturbing other occupants.
iron and ironing board in room was perfect for what I needed.
Pretty clean and nice.
Quiet place, clean room, nice and helpful staff, kitchen appliances in the room, comfortable and cosy, all of this for a quite fair price at only 1 hour drive from San Francisco... Great !
No bad experience.
willing to accomodate lower level non smoking
Room not designed for 6 ft people.
Wifi fantastically fast and efficient. Helpful friendly staff. Huge rooms. Fridge and microwave in the rooms. Nice simple breakfast. Lovely stay.
Despite being called "Hotel" Stratford. This is not a hotel, it's a motel. The rooms lead directly outside. The front desk although 24hrs is outside talk through the glass only after a certain time. Makes it seem unsafe. Breakfast room very small. Room very dark with lights needing to be on constantly. Is a bus journey away from anything.
The outside of this building looked good but inside was horrible
Won't stay here again. Very old outdated and I was afraid to touch anything in this room.
It was very basic but suited my needs well. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I liked having the fridge and microwave. There is an Organic grocery store just blocks away, coffee shops and a good Thai restaurant. Very convenient location for me-- About a mile or so to Cal train and Santa Cruz University. Staff very friendly.
They had an updated TV with real cable as advertised. Breakfast was decent with waffles, fruit, muffins coffee and cereal. Room was large and had a mini fridge that comes in handy when traveling.
No bed skirt and a very firm bed with sheets that come off easy. One pillow per person was not fun and burn marks on the bathroom door.
The room was nice, had the usual amenities like a mini-fridge and wi-fi. The breakfast was pretty good.
The location by El Camino Real and San Tomas xpwy has a lot of traffic and not much else. Security light shining in window (although between my face mask and the shutters that was not a big deal for me). If you're on the first floor you WILL hear your upstairs neighbor stomping around. You'll hear your next door neighbors no matter where you are. For the price they were charging they could have signed up for a better satellite package.
